Burger King Corporation Appoints Initiative as Media Buying & Planning Agency for Six Markets

Burger King Corporation today announced the appointment of Initiative as the company’s media buying and planning agency for six of its key markets, effective immediately. Initiative currently handles BURGER KING® media buying and planning in Holland, Mexico and Spain and will now add to its portfolio the Germany, Sweden and the UK.

Commenting on Initiative’s appointment, Gillian Smith, Burger King’s global senior director of media and interactive, said, “Appointing Initiative in six of our key markets will enable us to build on our innovative approach to media buying and planning. Initiative has already proven itself as a great partner for Burger King in Mexico, Spain and Holland, and we are looking forward to bringing their expertise, particularly in the area of digital marketing, to the UK, Germany and Sweden.”
